This project involved a series of animation and digital video workshops with particpants recovering from a stroke or suffering from dementia at the Cherry Tree hospital in Stockport, I also worked with isolated elderly people within sheltered housing acomodation. The workshop participants worked with a theme of autumn and winter, together we made moulds from leaves using plasterine and animating these together with twigs and line drawings The idea was to bring the outside in and connect the particpants emotionally with their immediate environment. Participants enjoyed moulding the plastercine , working with touch, colour, and texture which aided both their physical and mental recovery.
